Gender bias is slowly working its way out of corporate America, and I will be happy to report on the increase of leading women in golf.

We start with Molly Solomon, 10-time Emmy Award winner and longtime NBC Olympics producer.  Who became the first woman to serve as executive producer for a national sports network in 2012.

Molly, a keen golfer herself, has been working closely with the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit. This venture fosters mentoring of younger women.  By women who are in positions of power. The idea is to empower junior females who are advancing in their careers.  To become community leaders. The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is in the planning for June 9-14, 2015 at Westchester CC in Rye NY.
