When your ball finishes up against the collar between the first cut and the putting surface, it is difficult to get a putter face cleanly on the ball.  Mike Gilmore, head golf professional at Winged Foot Golf Club, via  Fox5NY‘s “Tips from the Pro’s,” explains how using a 3 wood from the edge of the green will make this shot a whole lot easier.  Try it out!
