Travelin’ Joe is GOLF Magazine’s very knowledgeable and entertaining ‘Best Trips’ writer.

He mainly helps other golfers with their wish list of courses to play, but recently he wrote down his own heart’s desires for several he hadn’t played. Joe has whittled his list down to 10 left to play from 2015 forward, and you can view them here.

I love that he has picked Durban Country Club in Durban, South Africa for #7. I have many fond memories of playing and competing there in my younger days. I’ve also escorted groups of golfers on golf/safari trips to South Africa, which have included a round at the award-winning Durban Country Club. It always lands on GOLF and Golf Digest’s Top 100 Courses in the World rankings.

Thanks to GOLF Magazine and Travelin’ Joe for this great article:

I want you to choose the Top 10 Golf Courses you have ever played, BUT, they have to be in the Top 100 Courses in the World.

As both Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine publish top 100 course lists, you can choose from either.  Just click on the links to find out which courses you have played.
