Many golfers don’t realize just how much their body moves when putting.
In this month’s Mel in Motion video golf tip, Mel provides us with a helpful drill you can do on the putting green or at your home or office that will help minimize body movement and give you tremendous improvements with your putting stroke.
By using a chair and placing the back of the chair against the back of your legs while in your putting stance. You can immediately feel if there is any movement in your lower body. The slightest movement in your lower body can be felt against the chair. By working on this, you can eliminate lower body movement by 100%. By doing this on a regular basis (I do this drill every month) you can totally eliminate lower body movement in your putting stroke, making sure that your putting stroke will be a lot more consistent in the future!
