A large percentage of golfers suffer from back pain.  Why?  

Usually, poor posture while sitting at a desk.  Or, poor posture while standing.  And, poor posture while sitting watching TV.  These are all contributing factors to your lower back pain.  Simple Organic Life gives us 7 really easy stretches that will take just a few minutes a day (and I mean every day) to completely eradicate that pain.  Just do it!

One of the consequences of being sedentary, and also being incredibly active, is back pain. About 31 million Americans experience lower back pain at any given moment. It’s a common affliction and one that takes care and diligence to eliminate.

Whether you experience stiffness, aches, or spasms, the following stretches will help keep your back fit and strong.

1. The hamstring floor stretch.

Hold for 30 seconds twice for each leg.

2. Knee to chest stretch.

7 Stretches that will make a huge difference to your back pain!

This helps strengthen and relax your glutes. Hold for 20 seconds for each leg twice.

3. Spinal stretch.

7 Stretches that will make a huge difference to your back pain!

This was a favorite of mine when I suffered sciatica. Hold for 20 seconds and repeat on the other knee. Do this as many times as you like but don’t overdo it.

Lower back pain is something I was plagued with for years until I understood the 2 root causes of my problem. 

Posture and muscle imbalance!  Mike Pedersen of “All About Better Golf” explains these two important factors that will lead to a pain-free back, just like me.  I am totally free of back pain and can stand and teach on the tee from 9.00 am to 5 pm with not so much as a twinge.  I could not do that before I had the knowledge that Mike Pedersen gives out below.

Golf is the sport of choice for many people. Many people enjoy playing golf in their leisure time. It is an excellent way to enjoy the outdoors and do light exercises. But many times golfers are wishing that they can go on playing golf forever and the other minute they are swearing off golf completely.

This is due to the fact that many golfers experience back pain at some point in their game. Many golfers skip their favorite pastime because of the pain, but many continue to enjoy the game and look for the ways to improve it.

Many times doctors recommend their patients to start playing the game because of its health benefits.

The game helps a person’s heart and helps them be fit. The physical activity also helps an individual reduce stress and provides an opportunity to meet new people. But incorrect technique in the game, overuse of the game, and not using good equipment can aggravate an injury.

Although I don’t have the experience nor have the skills of a professional player, here I will give you a few tips that will help you reduce the back and neck pain that is pertains to playing golf. Also with these simple lifestyle precautions, you can enjoy golf and improve your game at the same time.
