When I am playing with friends or club members, I will often see the incorrect selection of club for the problem at hand.  

If you have a fairly steep uphill before the green, the last thing you want to do is take your lob wedge or sand wedge and try to pitch it.  Remember the Golden Rule – Fly the ball in the air as little as possible, and roll the ball as much as possible!

If you mishit just slightly, the ball is likely to roll all the way back down to your feet!  Mark Wood, from the Mark Wood Golf Academy, explains that the correct shot is a hybrid chip, which will eliminate a lot of poor shots by just implementing a longer putting stroke!
