In a recent survey of PGA and LPGA players, the question was asked: “What is the biggest flaw you see each week with your amateur partners in the Pro-Am?” The answer was almost universal. They try to hit the ball too hard! If amateurs went to the range and only worked on tempo, they would develop a smooth swing that is so much easier to time, and I can assure you, with almost no loss of distance!
