Most golfers either do not warm up before a round or maybe hit a small bucket of balls without any consistent regimen.

Create your own routine that includes all these elements, and see your scores come down! Thanks to Step by Step and the PGA Tour for these stats and video.

Rory McIlroy is currently the #1 player in the world.
Before he goes out to play a competitive round, he must prepare himself both mentally and physically. Doing the correct warm-up routine gives him confidence before the round, so when facing a bunker shot, pitch shot, or a faded 5 iron to a right-hand pin position, he has a positive mental picture of those shots from his warm-up routine. Make sure you have a structured warm-up routine before you go out and play!
Miguel Angel Jimenez is the coolest man on the European Tour!

I always used to think Freddie Couples was Mr. Cool, but Miguel Angel Jimenez takes cool to a whole new level!
Watch his unique warm-up routine! Maybe I should start teaching this at my golf school!
Note that he works every part of his body. Every joint and ligament! His legs and his arms. He’ll stretch his hamstrings, glutes, back, and ankles. Nothing is left out. Copy this routine and try it on the range before you start your warm-up routine. You might get a few strange looks as Miguel did at first, but now he leads the spectators at the event in a stretching class almost every day! You might start a trend at your club!
