Piers Ward and Andy Proudman of Meandmygolf.com give you a good drill for improving body rotation.
Body rotation is important in the backswing for coil, which gets you into a good hitting position. Start the backswing by allowing the weight to shift to the rear foot and loading into the rear hip. Uncoiling on the downswing is also critical in getting the sequence correct to bring the clubhead back to the ball at maximum velocity and direction.
