I will be upfront here and say that I am a Mizuno Clubfitter, and I play Mizuno Clubs.

That being said, I have always (long before my association with Mizuno) admired Mizuno for the great irons that have always been produced through the years!  Their new 850 Driver is also the best driver they have ever produced, but that is for another day!

I personally put these Mizuno MP 25’s in my bag.  I cannot say enough about them!  They are the best irons I have ever had in my bag!  I guess I won’t be replacing my clubs any time soon! Come and visit me at Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club in Pawleys Island, SC.  We are about half an hour south of Myrtle Beach, SC.  Set up a personal clubfitting with me for the entire Mizuno line – they have models for all handicap levels, as you will see in the video below!

At GOLF Magazine’s 2015 Club Test in Florida, this year’s testers talked about one of their favorite irons, the Mizuno JPX-850 Irons.

In this video, several golfers mention that they prefer these game improvement clubs because they provide more accuracy and longer distance, plus they can work the ball with knockdowns and three-quarter shots. These testers also like the cavity-backed design and the overall beauty of the clubs. It gives one confidence as you see them sit nicely behind the ball, remarked one golfer.

I am proud to announce that I became a Certified Mizuno Clubfitter in 2011.  And Mizunos have been the only irons in my bag ever since. These clubs are perfectly suited to my own individual swing to maximize performance. They are very highly rated in the golf industry, and Top PGA & LPGA players such as Luke Donald & Stacy Lewis have reached Number 1 using Mizuno irons.

Mizuno has long been known for making the best irons in the industry.

Luke Donald rose to the number 1 player in the world using their MP-15 irons, made with titanium rather than steel.

Luke Donald, former #1 Player in the World, plays with his Mizuno clubs.

What put Mizuno on the Map.  Forged Irons for the better Players!  No question.  But what about the rest of the higher handicap players?  The JPX-850 line of irons is amazing. These were 6 years in development and featured a thinner forging process, which results in both feel and distance. (or ‘playability’ and distance) A wider sole and more beveling of the leading and trailing edges make them easier to play, especially for all types of lies. News: these are not only for amateurs, as Stacy Lewis, the #2 player globally, has had the JPX-850 Mizuno’s in her bag for quite some time.

Does Mizuno produce Drivers? Yes! And I can personally recommend both Mizuno irons and driver, as that is what’s in my bag.

Get more info on these clubs by viewing this video with Golf Week’s David Dusek and Chris Voshall, Mizuno’s senior design engineer.
